Juetta's career has spanned three decades including being a four time state baton twirling champion for the State of Ohio, a Ben Gal NFL cheerleader for the Cincinnati Bengals, and a high fashion runway model for international fashion luminaries such as Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, Bob Mackie, St. John and many more. She has also conquered the world of fitness and nutrition with her dedication and positive attitude to these disciplines. Strangers approach Juetta asking for her secrets. Althea's designs have won the attention of many people, including passionate Project Runway fans and the entertainment industry’s most respected personalities. As a finalist in Project Runway and Project Runway Allstars, Althea’s designs caught the eye of Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, Kerry Washington, the Kardashians and Angela Simmons who are all fans of her designs. Tommy Hilfiger called her work "genius." Althea attended both the University of Cincinnati School of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning and Central Saint Martins in London. Following graduation, she became a finalist on Project Runway. Upon completion of the filming of Project Runway, Althea moved to New York City where Tory Burch invited her to become part of the label’s design team. While designing for Tory Burch, she continued to build her own line, self-titled ALTHEA HARPER, which has shown consistently in New York fashion week since its debut in September 2009.
Althea's enthusiasm for Turn It On is based on her love of healthy living and the inspiration to fill the need for stylish workout clothing that can be worn from the fitness studio to the street.
